For the first time, Biblionef will be taking part in #GivingTuesday – an initiative started by Global Giving.

We are asking individuals to help us raise funds to support 18 Primary Schools in Vuwani, Limpopo, with quality storybooks in Xitsonga, Venda and English.

In May this year, communities from a cluster of villages surrounding Vuwani torched a total of 26 schools and damaged an additional 79 schools. After extensive research, we gathered the relevant information of 18 Primary Schools that are operational but lack essential learning resources for their learners.

With your support, we will donate children’s storybooks to these schools to kick-start their new academic year.
