Biblionef is a Proudly South African organisation. We care about the South African book market and work with local publishers and booksellers that produce and sell books written and illustrated by local South Africans. For us to give children books in their local language, Biblionef has been involved in many publishing initiatives, sometimes with the help of a dedicated donor and sometimes with funds raised through our sustainability initiatives. These books are then added to our existing book stock and distributed to our beneficiaries.

To date, Biblionef has commissioned the publication and/ or reprints of 94 titles in one or more of South Africa’s official languages. Below is a brief look at some of the titles we have had a hand in publishing and reprinting.
