Non-Profit Companies like Biblionef SA are under immense pressure to become self-sustainable as we try not to rely solely on donor funds. Using the opportunity of trading within specific parameters as an NPC, Biblionef has successfully sold some of its books and services to individuals, institutions, companies, and organisations that have the funds to purchase them. 100% of all money acquired is redirected back into the organisation to continue carrying out our mission of donating new books to children throughout South Africa.

At present, we offer our services to over 40 literacy organisations. We are constantly striving to improve the service and extend it to even more literacy organisations throughout the country. In 2021, our self-sustainability efforts brought in 30% of our overall income.
