An injection of educational resources given to Grade R classes in 99 schools!
With funding from the NLTDF, Biblionef worked in KZN and provided 41 Grade R classes with new books and Educational resources which will be used to get the children better prepared to enter Grade one. The Book handover function was also attended by local writer and storyteller, Gcina Mhlope, where she wooed the crowd with her songs and storytelling.
38 schools in the North West and 20 schools in Limpopo also received their books at handovers in Mooinooi, Lichtenburg, Klerksdorp, Wolmaranstad and the Giyani area where their workshops also prioritised the importance of storytelling as a key element in getting children to want to read and to enjoy reading.
