Biblionef provided Foundation Phase (grade 1 – 3) teachers with a copy of a delightful Nal’ibali story to read to their learners; the stories differed across grades. We then invited learners to take part in a voluntary competition where they could draw and write about their favourite character in the story or draw and write about the part of the story they most like. This competition formed part of a bigger project that the SALI Trust funded.
