Voluteering Can you write? Are you a good photographer? Do you like to distribute books? Are you able to design a brochure or a letterhead? We would love to use your talent! Andrew Baddeley of Fusion.01 and Gerhard Kotze of WickedBox have helped Biblionef building this website and many others have followed in their footsteps. You don't have to be a professional, as long as you are keen on supporting Biblionef and its dedicated team members. Are you interested? Please do not hesitate to contact us. An example for appreciated voluntary work: Biblionef's new website Biblionef South Africa had its first website online in March 2002. The website was created by one of the Board Members and was hosted for free by UNISA. During 2003 we realized a good website should contain up-to-date information but we needed time to make a plan. At the end of 2004 we wrote a letter to several web designers. Andrew Baddeley at Fusion.01 reacted immediately: ''I have been looking to put something back into an organisation or charity for quite some time - for free. A case of giving back due to fact that I am very fortunate to have had the background I've received - education / home and being able to purchase as many books as I want at any time. Your organisation is doing great work and I think it deserves as much support as is able. I have, for quite some time, wanted to do something for an organisation looking specifically for a website - in other words, where there really is a need.' During the process the hosting company and partner Wickedbox offered us free hosting space once we found out that our existing space at UNISA didn't support the protocol we needed for hosting the content management system. We are very proud to have our own distinctive South African website for so little money. It is also a perfect example of what we think of when we refer to the way we work .
